TUFTING WORKSGHOP

Punch Needle Workshop with Natalya Hughes

In this workshop at the Institute of Modern Art, you will create your own textile work to take home using the punch needle tufting technique. Natalya will lead participants through some of the techniques and processes she has employed to create custom textile works in The Interior. Participants will design their own motif to tuft, extracting imagery from their experiences in conversation with the artist. Link to registration with IMA below.

30 July–01 October 2022

Natalya Hughes latest body of work exploring psychoanalysis, the historical role of women, and decorative traditions.
